Sustainable
Plantation Management

Our suppliers maintain plantation estates designed with environmental stewardship in mind. These estates are carefully planned and developed to optimize resources, often resembling secondary forests that provide vital habitats for diverse plant and animal species.

Energy Self-Sufficiency
at Palm Oil Mills

Many of the palm oil mills operated by our suppliers are largely self-sufficient, generating electricity from biomass processes. They use fibers and shells from fresh fruit bunches (FFB) as
fuel for boilers, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering emissions.

Methane Capture and Biogas Generation

To further reduce environmental impact, methane gas generated from effluent pond waste is captured and converted into electricity via biogas generators. This innovative system
helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions while powering mill operations sustainably.

Certification and Audit Programs

Our supply chain partners participate in regular audits and inspections under the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) sustainability programme. These efforts aim toward RSPO certification and ensure compliance with rigorous sustainability standards.
